A group of Traprock Ladies and guests gathered on the veranda at Verona, in aid of the Cancer Council's "Pink Ribbon Fundraiser" which raises vital funds supporting women affected with breast or gynecological cancers. Despite the threat of much needed rain, and a few gusty winds, it was a lovely afternoon spent chatting and sharing food and refreshments. Traprock Member Helen Ferrier delivered an informative speech on the nature of good health and the importance of taking a mindful approach to well-being.  A door prize sponsored by the Traprock Group was won by Sarah McMeniman.  Funds raised on the day, including direct online donations, have amounted to in excess of $607 so far.  Thank you to all who contributed.

Attendees commented on what a worthwhile event it was and suggestions have been raised to combine with our male Traprockers for a joint men's and women's cancer awareness fundraiser in years to come.
